  PrairieFest '09

One of ten Prairie Fest bandsPrairieFest 2009 was a very successful event.  It was an ArtFest, DineFest, MusicFest, and FoodFest wrapped into one big street festival.  It brought in many people to the Historic Downtown area.  There were special sales at retail shops, local artists displaying their work for purchase, lots of different choices for cuisine, and ten live bands on two different stages.

Thank you to everyone who made this another very successful PDRI event.  This would not have been possible without our countless volunteers.

We look forward to making this happen again next year!

Tastes, Toasts, & Tomfoolery '08

PDRI's annual fundraising gala was held November 1st, in Blackhawk Junction. This year's French theme was beautifully portrayed by stunning decor provided by: Vicki Howe and her decorating committee, splendid appetizers served by Ginger Arms and her staff, and a bar and wait staff of phenomenal and hardworking volunteers.

Thank you to Kay Wessling, TT&T Chairman, and everyone who made this another successful PDRI event, which helps to sustain PDRI and its downtown revitalization, historical preservation and economic development efforts in downtown.

Next year's theme will be Mediterranean Greek.  Call PDRI today to join this committee.
